Commvault faces securities fraud lawsuit

A securities fraud class action lawsuit has been filed against Commvault by Glancy Prongay & Murray on behalf of investors who purchased Commvault securities between April 29, 2025, and January 26, 2026. The lawsuit alleges that Commvault made materially false and misleading statements regarding its annualized recurring revenue (ARR) growth, failing to properly factor in different types of sales. This came after Commvault published its third-quarter 2026 fiscal results, reporting a net new ARR of $39 million, which fell short of its $45 million guidance. Following this announcement, Commvault's stock price dropped by $40.23, or 31.1%, to $89.13 per share on January 27, 2026, causing injury to investors. Glancy Prongay & Murray is urging affected investors to contact them to potentially pursue claims and move for lead plaintiff appointment by July 17, 2026.
