Girl Dies of Cardiac Arrest in School

An eight-year-old girl, Gargi Ranpara, studying in Class 3 at Zebar School for Children in India — Ahmedabad, India — Gujarat, died of a suspected cardiac arrest. She fell unconscious in the school lobby and despite efforts to revive her at a private hospital, she could not survive. The India — Gujarat Police launched a probe into the incident, sending her body for postmortem to determine the exact cause of death. This incident follows a similar case in India — Karnataka where another eight-year-old student also died of cardiac arrest at school.
