The NIA alleges that JeI has been actively collecting funds domestically and internationally under the guise of charitable activities, diverting these funds towards violent and secessionist activities, and channeling them to proscribed terrorist organizations such as Hizbul Mujahideen. The investigation also revealed JeI's involvement in radicalizing and recruiting Kashmiri youth for secessionist purposes. Incriminating financial documents and electronic gadgets were recovered during the searches. The NIA continues its efforts to dismantle the terror network and end secessionist activities in India — Jammu and Kashmir.
