Emerson, Aramco co-develop corrosion solutions

Emerson Electric and Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement to co-develop next-generation corrosion management solutions. This collaboration aims to digitalize and transform corrosion management for Saudi Arabia, a strategic priority for its operational performance, safety, and environmental responsibility. Emerson Electric will provide its technology leadership in ultrasonic online corrosion monitoring, wireless connectivity, and real-time data collection. Saudi Arabia will contribute its operational expertise and intellectual property. The initiative seeks to reduce reliance on manual inspections by enabling continuous monitoring and digital data collection, ultimately leading to improved decision-making and potentially offering valuable tools for other industries.
