This disclosure was made by Special Adviser Nurudeen Yekini Lanre Agbaje during a ministerial press briefing. Beyond insurance, the government is actively engaged in strengthening grassroots governance, resolving petitions, issuing administrative circulars, and facilitating approvals for capital projects. Significant investments are also being made in rural infrastructure, including the commencement of 10 road projects, completion of 53 water schemes, deployment of 35 transformers and five solar-powered streetlights, and approval of 80 rural electrification projects. Community development efforts include the construction of community halls and the registration of Community Development Associations. The administration also supports traditional institutions and plans a new coordination hub for leaders.
