National Rescue Movement elects Esther_Okereke

The Uganda — National Resistance Movement (NRM) has elected Dr. Esther Okereke as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections in Nigeria. The announcement was made in Abuja during the party's national convention and presidential primary election. National Chairman of the NRM, Prince Chinedu Obi, unveiled Esther Okereke, emphasizing the party's commitment to rebuilding Nigeria through visionary leadership and addressing challenges like insecurity, unemployment, and economic hardship. Esther Okereke, in her acceptance speech, introduced the 'ESTHER Agenda,' a policy framework focused on Education, Security, Technology, Housing, Entrepreneurship, and Restitution, aiming to restore national values and drive inclusive development. The NRM positions itself as a 'national rescue mission' to tackle systemic failures and promote stability and progress in Nigeria.
