Ghana GTEC warns 70 unrecognised institutions

The Ghana — Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has issued a public warning and published a list of 70 unrecognised tertiary institutions operating both within and outside Ghana. These institutions, including Universidad Azteca, Venice International University, Swiss Management Centre University, Texila American University Guyana, Debest College of Science, Arts and Business, Faith University Seminary, Kingdom Living Bible Institute, Miva Open University, Dentam Professional College, Volta University College, Venice International University, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Training School, New Life Bible College and Seminary, Kenneth E. Hagin, All Nations Church International University, Selinus University of Sciences and Literature, Crown University International Chartered, Monarch Business School, City University (Cambodia), Indian School of Management and Studies, Xavier School of Management, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, Institute for Business Value, University of Havana, O. P. Jindal Global University, East Bridge University, London Academy of Technology and Management, World Academy for Research and Development, London School of Management and Technology, Breyer State Theology University, Osiri University, Christian Leadership University, Louisiana Baptist University and Seminary, Logos University, American Bible University, Akamai University, and LIGS University, are not accredited and do not meet quality assurance standards. GTEC advises the public, including students, parents, and employers, to exercise due diligence as certificates from these institutions may not be recognised for academic or professional purposes in Ghana. This action aims to protect the integrity of Ghana's tertiary education system and prevent individuals from obtaining fraudulent credentials.
