This new greenfield deemed-to-be university aims to bridge the 40-year gap between industry needs and educational outcomes in India>>> by offering globally benchmarked, industry-embedded STEM and management education. M. R. Jayaram>>>, Chairman and Chancellor of RISM, highlighted the vision for a transformative higher education system focused on experiential, outcome-based learning. Edwin Rodríguez>>>, President of the University at Albany, emphasized RISM's design to thrive in and lead today's rapidly changing economy. The university will commence academic operations from a transit campus in August 2026, with its main residential campus near Devanahalli fully operational by September 2028. Programs will include B.Tech in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Sciences, BBA (Technology Management), and MBA, all following a fully residential model with industry-sponsored Centers of Excellence and 'Mentor Professors'.
