This act of vandalism, confirmed by the Nigeria — Transmission Company of Nigeria>>> (TCN) through its spokesperson Ndidi Mbah>>>, has caused severe power supply disruptions. Both transmission lines are out of service pending reconstruction. TCN engineers have been mobilized to assess the damage and begin repairs. As a temporary measure, the Lafia 330kV Transmission Station is being supplied via the Lafia-Jos transmission line to minimize the impact on customers of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company>>> and Jos Electricity Distribution Company>>>.
