Asyad Group acquires Uzbekistan logistics platforms

Asyad Group, a global integrated logistics provider, announced the acquisition of a controlling stake in key logistics platforms in Uzbekistan, specifically Universal Logistics Services and Highway Logistics Center. This strategic transaction, executed in partnership with Orient Group and Uzbek-Oman Investment Company, marks Asyad Group's direct entry into Central Asia's fastest-growing logistics market. The acquisition establishes a vital bridge connecting Oman's ports and logistics infrastructure to Central Asia's evolving trade corridors, positioning Asyad Group as a key player in enabling seamless cargo flows between China, Europe, the Middle East, and neighboring Central Asian economies. The integrated multimodal terminals will link Central Asian cargo flows directly to Oman's ports, strengthening both Uzbekistan's logistics capabilities and Oman's role as a global logistics hub. This deal aligns with Oman's Logistics Strategy (SOLS) 2040 and the Oman — Oman Investment Authority's mandate to deepen strategic and economic ties with Uzbekistan and Central Asia, reinforcing Oman's position as a gateway between Central Asia and global markets.
