C.H. Robinson launches Lean AI Engineer

C.H. Robinson, a global leader in Lean AI supply chains, has launched the Lean AI Engineer, an innovative AI technology designed to operate, assess, and continuously improve global supply chains. This new system works in conjunction with the Lean AI Planner, introduced last year, to create a closed-loop AI system that autonomously handles 92% of 4PL shipments across various transportation modes. The Lean AI Engineer can assess an entire supply chain in 25-30 minutes, identifying optimizations and hidden savings, a significant improvement over traditional methods. Jordan, President of Managed Solutions, highlighted the system's ability to run continuously, improve operations, and self-heal without human intervention. Arun Rajan, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, noted that this technology bridges the gap between data and execution in supply chains. Early adopters have already seen substantial savings, with one client reducing loads by 17% for an annual savings of over $1 million.
