China urges India cooperation, Russia balances ties

China has urged India to adopt a strategic perception of cooperative partnership rather than rivalry, emphasizing mutual development opportunities. This call comes amidst generally stable China-India border conditions and follows comments from Russian President Vladimir Putin, who highlighted Russia's strong, independent ties with both India and China, asserting that these relationships do not negatively impact each other. China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian also expressed support for dialogue between India and Pakistan to resolve differences and maintain regional peace. The three nations, China, India, and Russia, are recognized as emerging economies, and maintaining sound relations among them is seen as beneficial for global peace, security, and stability. Vladimir Putin praised both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping for their efforts in resolving mutual issues, including border disputes.
