Charter names Chris Hacker security head

Charter Communications announced the appointment of Chris Hacker as its new Head of Corporate Security, effective June 8, 2026. Hacker succeeds Greece — Rhodes, who is retiring. In his new role, Hacker will oversee Charter Communications' Corporate Physical Security organization, focusing on protecting employees, facilities, and operations, and managing partnerships with law enforcement. Hacker brings over two decades of experience, including his most recent position as Director of Corporate Security Programs, Executive Protection & Investigations at Delta Air Lines, and a 20-year career with the United States — Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he held several senior leadership roles. His extensive background in security leadership, investigations, and crisis response is expected to enhance Charter Communications' security strategy.
