Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath>>> of India — Uttar Pradesh>>> launched Project Ganga, an ambitious rural broadband initiative aimed at providing high-speed internet connectivity to approximately 20 lakh rural households. The project seeks to develop 8,000-10,000 digital service providers (DSPs) and create over one lakh direct and indirect employment opportunities. Hinduja Group>>>, through its broadband arm OneOTT Intertainment>>>, is supporting the initiative as a knowledge partner and implementation enabler on a 'no-profit, no-loss' basis. The project, starting in 21 districts, is designed to bridge the digital divide, enhance digital education, telemedicine, e-governance, and smart agriculture, and promote self-reliance among rural youth by offering interest-free loans for establishing digital service enterprises.
