These facilities include a Special Intelligence & Technical Unit (SITU), a Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) Room, an Interrogation Room, an MHC Room, and the Office of the DSP. The aim is to drastically enhance scientific investigation, digital evidence analysis, intelligence gathering, and technical surveillance for anti-narcotics operations. The India — Punjab, India>>> government has invested Rs 11.50 crore each in FY 2024-25 and FY 2025-26, with an additional Rs 14.16 crore allocated, for technical infrastructure upgrades. The ANTF has also been designated as the State NCORD Secretariat, serving as the nodal agency for coordination among various departments and enforcement agencies.
