Taiyo Nippon Sanso — Nippon Sanso, in partnership with Cold Jet, has successfully launched a new, fully automated dry ice production and recovery facility in Sweden — Köping, Sweden. This state-of-the-art plant, inaugurated at the end of May, utilizes Cold Jet's advanced turnkey solutions, including high-efficiency pelletizers, pellet-to-slice reformers, and a fully automated robotics system. A key feature is the integrated CO2 Recovery Systems, which capture and recycle CO2, significantly reducing Taiyo Nippon Sanso — Nippon Sanso's liquid CO2 costs and minimizing its carbon footprint. The facility boasts a production capacity of 2.2 tons of dry ice per hour and will serve the airline, food, pharmaceutical, and industrial cleaning sectors across the Nordic region, ensuring localized production, reduced transport times, and superior-quality dry ice.
