The United Arab Emirates Government, following directives from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is embarking on a major initiative to transform 50% of its government sectors, services, and operations to Agentic AI models within two years. A specialized workshop, organized by the United Arab Emirates — Ministry of Cabinet Affairs (United Arab Emirates) in Dubai, brought together over 300 participants from 50 federal entities to launch the implementation phases. Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, emphasized that this move reinforces the United Arab Emirates' global leadership in adopting advanced government practices, aiming to enhance performance, improve service quality, and build a more agile government. Maryam Bint Ahmed Al Hammadi and Mohamed Rashid Bin Taliah, key officials, detailed the operational and service tracks, including identifying priority areas like human resources, finance, and digital transformation. Each government entity is required to select a service or operation for Agentic AI implementation within 90 days, with progress closely monitored.
