22 Nations Warn Iran on Attacks

Twenty-two countries, including the United States, Australia, and several European nations, have issued a joint warning to Iran, accusing its security services, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' intelligence services and the Quds Force, of orchestrating 'lethal plotting and malign actions' on their soil. These actions include using international and local criminal gangs for plots in Europe, North America, and Australia, targeting Iranian dissidents, journalists, and Jewish and Israeli communities. The Iran-linked group Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya has claimed responsibility for attacks in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and the Netherlands, including stabbings and arson. Australia has taken direct action, expelling Iran's ambassador, withdrawing its own, suspending embassy operations in Tehran, and designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a state sponsor of terrorism due to alleged antisemitic attacks in Melbourne and Sydney. The joint statement demands that Iran immediately cease these actions, emphasizing the undermining of national sovereignty and international norms.
