KEZAD Group, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, has announced the development of the KEZAD SME Hub in MGX, a 25,260 square meter business platform for small and medium enterprises. This AED112 million ($30.5 million) project, scheduled for handover by the end of the year, aims to bridge the gap between early-stage incubators and industrial market facilities, providing 175 flexible Micro Industrial Units and office suites. The hub will benefit from direct connectivity to Khalifa Port and Etihad Rail networks. The initiative is central to MGX's economic diversification strategy, supporting the growth of SMEs which are vital to the United Arab Emirates' non-oil GDP. KEZAD Group has also signed an MoU with Emirates (airline) to provide capital and strategic support to UAE-based SMEs within the hub.
