The acquisition of Anwim S.A. by Stonepeak and Energy Equation Partners is expected to create a leading independent multi-energy platform in Europe, potentially increasing competition and efficiency in the fuel retail and e-mobility sectors. This could lead to increased investment in energy transition initiatives and modern services for retail customers across Europe.
Stonepeak and Energy Equation Partners (EEP) have announced an agreement to acquire Anwim S.A., Poland's largest independent fuel marketer and owner of the MOYA station network. This transaction continues Stonepeak and EEP's European fuel retail joint venture, following their acquisition of a majority interest in Phillips 66 — JET Tankstellen Deutschland GmbH in December 2025. Anwim S.A. is Poland's third-largest and fastest-growing fuel station chain, with over 540 MOYA stations. The acquisition aims to leverage the combined expertise of Stonepeak and EEP in energy infrastructure, fuel retail, and e-mobility to strengthen the MOYA brand and expand its market position. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
