Armed bandits intercepted a commercial vehicle carrying 11 passengers, abducting all occupants. A swift response by police operatives, including the Violent Crime Rescue Unit (VCRU), led to a fierce gun duel, forcing the bandits to flee. Nine victims were rescued unharmed, including Abubakar Ibrahim, Rakkiya Ya'u, Shamsiya Ahmad Mahamud, Jumai Majarazu, Salamatu Adamu, Yusuf Halliru, Harira Hamisu, Umma Kabir, and Nusaiba Maharazu. However, two individuals, Aliyu and Kabir Buhari, remain missing, and search and rescue operations are ongoing.
