The United States — Food and Drug Administration has recalled approximately 90,000 bottles of Children's Ibuprofen Oral Suspension in the U.S. due to the presence of foreign materials like 'gel-like mass' and 'black particles'. The recall was initiated by Strides Pharma Science, the manufacturer, which produced the product for Taro Pharmaceutical Industries. The United States — Food and Drug Administration in Nigeria has alerted its citizens to this recall and is taking proactive measures, including intensified surveillance, to prevent the contaminated medication from entering the Nigerian market. The agency has advised importers, distributors, retailers, healthcare professionals, and caregivers to remain vigilant and avoid the importation, sale, distribution, or use of the recalled products, and urged parents and caregivers to discontinue use and seek medical attention if unusual reactions are observed.
