Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has announced a new collaboration with Synopsys, Inc. This partnership allows users of Synopsys' simulation tools, including Ansys HFSS and Ansys Icepak, to directly access and download Murata's high-performance simulation models. This initiative aims to streamline the electronic circuit design workflow, addressing challenges related to electromagnetic interference and component heat generation. Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is also the first company to offer passive component simulation models via Ansys Icepak. The models are compatible with Ansys 2026 R1 and cover Murata's RF inductors, multilayer ceramic capacitors, and power inductors.
