Santosh Kumar at London Climate Action Week

Santosh Kumar, former Rajya Sabha MP and Chairman of Igniting Minds Organisation, will represent the Green India Challenge at London Climate Action Week 2026. He will co-host 'Playing for the Planet' at the United Kingdom — House of Lords on June 23, bringing together parliamentarians and climate leaders to discuss accelerating climate action through sport, innovation, and ecological achievements. On June 24, he will deliver a keynote address at the Climate & Sustainability Leadership Forum hosted by the Mayor of the London Borough of Redbridge Group. The Green India Challenge has mobilised over 196 million saplings, engaged more than 44 million citizens, and established over 21,000 water conservation structures across 33 countries. This initiative, along with Igniting Minds Organisation's Observer Status at United Nations Climate Change Conference and Sixteenth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, underscores India's growing international relevance in climate action. The London engagements will also pave the way for India — Hyderabad Climate Action Week 2026, positioned as the Global South's premier climate delivery platform.
