Matawalle Endorses Tinubu's 2027 Re-election

Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defence, has expressed strong confidence in President Bola Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 presidential election, asserting that his administration's achievements will silence critics and opposition propaganda. Speaking through his Special Adviser, Ibrahim Mai Gandi, at a retreat organized by the North-West Tinubu/Matawalle Peace and Unity Initiatives, Bello Matawalle highlighted the administration's policies in security, infrastructure, economic reform, and social development. He commended the Nigeria — Nigerian Armed Forces for their sacrifices in combating insecurity, particularly in Northern Nigeria. Bello Matawalle dismissed opposition claims as misinformation aimed at undermining the government's progress. He urged Nigerians to engage constructively in national development and called on political leaders to support initiatives promoting economic empowerment and national cohesion. Yusuf Dingyadi, the Lead Convener, stated the retreat aimed to strengthen support networks and raise awareness of the administration's agenda. Bello Matawalle reiterated that Bola Tinubu remains politically strong in the North-West and is well-positioned for victory, emphasizing that the 'Renewed Hope Agenda' is yielding positive results across critical sectors.
