The Nigeria — Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has launched the Business Incubation Programme for Artisans under its Skill-Up Artisans (SUPA) Programme in Nigeria. This initiative aims to support SUPA graduates in establishing and growing sustainable businesses by providing comprehensive entrepreneurship training, mentorship, business support services, tools, equipment, and market access. The program is a significant step in the Nigeria Federal Government's commitment to skills development, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship promotion, and inclusive economic growth. Dignitaries such as Vice President Kashim Shettima, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Jumoke Oduwole, and Minister of State for Industry John Owan Enoh are expected to attend the launch. The program, spearheaded by Nigeria — Industrial Training Fund Director-General Afiz Oluwatoyin Ogun, will include a robust monitoring and evaluation framework over five years to measure business growth, sustainability, job creation, and contributions to national economic development.
