The launch of the GO Battery and GO Optimized ESS by OVO Energy in Europe is expected to positively impact the renewable energy market by providing advanced solar and energy storage solutions. This could lead to increased adoption of solar-plus-storage systems, benefiting OVO Energy's stock price and potentially other companies in the solar and energy storage industries.
OVO Energy, a leading provider of intelligent solar and energy solutions, has announced the shipment of its new GO Battery, part of the GO Optimized ESS, to European market customers. This fulfills pre-order commitments made in April 2026. The company will showcase live demonstrations of the GO Optimized ESS at Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, Germany, from June 23-25. Weiss-Blau GmbH, an installer and member of the Tigo Installer Loyalty Program, will be among the first to deploy the system in the European residential market. The GO Battery features a modular architecture, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) chemistry, and complies with European grid standards, offering flexible sizing options for various residential applications. The GO Optimized ESS integrates several Tigo products, including inverters, optimizers, EV chargers, and heat pump integration, all managed through the OVO Energy Intelligence (EI) platform. OVO Energy is also supporting installers through programs like Green Glove and Tigo Academy training.
