NetJets Cessna Jet Crashes in Laredo

A Berkshire Hathaway — NetJets-operated Cessna Citation II business jet, carrying six people, crashed on Loop 20 highway in Laredo, United States — Texas, after experiencing mechanical failure. The plane, which departed from San José del Cabo, Mexico, and was bound for Austin, United States — Texas, was diverted to United States — Laredo International Airport before losing contact with air traffic controllers. The crash resulted in one fatality, identified as Josh Baer, a notable technology entrepreneur and founder of Capital Factory, and injuries to five other occupants of the plane, as well as at least one person in a vehicle struck by the plane.
