The signing of this MOU is expected to positively impact Aduro Clean Technologies' stock by demonstrating progress in its FOAK project and securing critical feedstock logistics. It also highlights the growing market for chemical recycling and waste valorization, potentially attracting further investment in the clean technology and waste management sectors.
Aduro Clean Technologies, a subsidiary of Aduro Clean Technologies, has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ortessa Groep BV, a Dutch waste management company. The MOU aims to evaluate the development of a feedstock logistics center to support Aduro's first-of-a-kind (FOAK) industrial plant at Netherlands — Chemelot in Sittard-Geleen, the Netherlands. This collaboration is crucial for advancing Aduro's Hydrochemolytic™ Technology (HCT) for chemical recycling of waste plastics by ensuring a secure, reliable, and efficient supply of post-use feedstock. The work will involve identifying and aggregating suitable feedstock streams, assessing pre-treatment requirements, and developing comprehensive logistics systems. This MOU is a significant step in Aduro's broader efforts to coordinate site development, permitting, project execution, offtake arrangements, and upstream material supply for its FOAK project.
