Inc., ConocoPhillips Company, Devon Energy Corporation, and Exxon Mobil Corporation, announced the start-up of its second produced-water treatment pilot facility, JIP 2, near Red Bluff Reservoir in Reeves County, United States — Texas. This facility is designed to process 2,000 barrels per day of produced water and yield approximately 1,000 barrels per day of reclaimed freshwater, significantly increasing the output compared to JIP 1. The project aims to transform produced water from a disposal challenge into a valuable resource for the United States — Permian Basin, contributing to long-term water security in West United States — Texas.
