Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, launched Vande Bharatam, a national initiative on his 64th birthday to identify and support innovators and entrepreneurs across India. The program aims to democratize opportunities by reaching all 36 States and Union Territories and over 800 districts, inviting participants of all ages and backgrounds. It seeks to bring promising ideas from beyond India's traditional startup centers onto a national platform, addressing the issue that over 80% of startup founders emerge from just five cities. Vande Bharatam will offer mentorship, industry interactions, investor engagement, incubation support, prize money, and strategic partnerships to 75 finalists, culminating in a Grand Finale around Independence Day. Rajeev Khandelwal will serve as the ambassador and host.
