The expanded lending agreement between SUI Group Holdings and Bluefin tuna is expected to generate enhanced returns for SUI Group Holdings shareholders through an increased revenue share. For Bluefin tuna, the additional capital provides crucial support for its role in financing Bluewater Labs' acquisition of Suilend, potentially boosting Bluefin tuna's growth and credibility within the Sui blockchain ecosystem. This also demonstrates a trend of public companies actively deploying crypto holdings as balance-sheet infrastructure.
SUI Group Holdings has expanded its strategic lending partnership with Bluefin tuna, a decentralized exchange on the Sui blockchain. Under an amended agreement, SUI Group Holdings will lend an additional 4 million SUI to Bluefin tuna, bringing the total loan to 6 million SUI. SUI Group Holdings' revenue share from this partnership will also increase from 5% to 11%, payable in SUI. This additional capital is intended to support Bluefin tuna's participation in the financing of Bluewater Labs' acquisition of Suilend, the largest lending and DeFi platform on the Sui blockchain. The agreement maintains its original three-year term through September 2028 and is expected to provide SUI Group Holdings with an enhanced return compared to native staking.
