The Adani Group, led by Chairperson Gautam Adani, organized a record-breaking nationwide blood donation campaign on June 24 to celebrate Gautam Adani's 64th birthday. The initiative, inspired by Gautam Adani's philosophy of 'Seva hi Sadhana Hai' (service is worship), collected 52,306 units of blood across 754 locations in 21 states, five Union Territories, and four international sites. Over 6,000 volunteers from the Adani Group and medical professionals collaborated with more than 764 blood banks, including Red Cross centres and government hospitals, to ensure the drive's success. The collected blood, amounting to nearly 23,538 litres, is expected to benefit over 156,000 patients in India by providing critical blood components for emergency care, surgeries, cancer treatment, and maternal healthcare. This annual campaign, which began in 2011, has grown significantly, reflecting the Adani Group's broader commitment to social development and community welfare.
