Lucky Aiyedatiwa appoints Tomola Obamuyi

Nigeria — Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has approved the appointment of Professor Tomola Marshal Obamuyi as the new Vice-Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko. This decision followed a recommendation from the university's Governing Council, which selected Professor Tomola Marshal Obamuyi from 15 candidates. Professor Tomola Marshal Obamuyi, a distinguished scholar in Banking and Finance, will succeed Professor Olugbenga Ige. He brings extensive academic and administrative experience, having previously served as Head of the Department of Banking and Finance at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, and as the first substantive Dean at the Federal University of Technology, Akure. Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa expressed confidence that Professor Tomola Marshal Obamuyi's expertise will further enhance the university's achievements in teaching, research, and community service, reaffirming the Nigeria — Ondo State government's commitment to supporting Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.
