The Nigeria — All Progressives Congress (APC) achieved a sweeping victory in the Nigeria — Gombe State local government elections, securing all 24 chairmanship seats and all 240 councillorship positions. The Nigeria — Gombe State Independent Electoral Commission, led by Abdullahi Garba, announced the results, highlighting the successful expansion of the state's local government structure from 11 to 24 administrative councils. This expansion was made possible by Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya's approval of 13 Local Council Development Areas.
