The India — Delhi government has successfully implemented its e-Office system, digitalizing over 75% of its official paperwork across 177 departments and involving approximately 15,700 active users. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the system, which became mandatory for all government departments on July 1, 2025, has significantly reduced reliance on paper files, enhanced transparency, and accelerated file disposal. The e-Office system is categorized into three types to cater to government departments, public sector undertakings, and educational institutions, ensuring tailored functionality. Since its full implementation, the system has processed over 140,000 e-files and more than 920,000 e-receipts, demonstrating a rapid increase in adoption and efficiency in government services.
