Orthocell Sends Remplir to Ukraine

Orthocell, an Australian regenerative medicine company, has expanded the global reach of its FDA-cleared collagen medical device, Remplir, to Ukraine. This initiative is part of a coordinated philanthropic effort to provide medical aid to victims of war. An initial shipment of Remplir was delivered in April 2025, and more devices are now in transit after a group of Australian corporate donors, including Wyllie Group, Minderoo Foundation, Canaccord Genuity, Gilbert + Tobin, Device Technologies Australia, Bell Potter, and Argonaut Securities, purchased 100 devices at humanitarian pricing. Orthocell has also donated an additional 100 devices, and the Ukraine Crisis Appeal has pledged AUD $10K to support this effort. Remplir devices have been used to treat severe trauma injuries in Ukraine, including peripheral nerve injuries. Orthocell is also supporting peer-to-peer training for surgeons. Remplir was cleared by the United States — Food and Drug Administration in April 2025 and is approved for sale in several other countries, with European Union and United Kingdom approvals expected in late 2026.
