Real estate developer Omaxe has announced the launch of a new hospitality business vertical, planning to invest approximately 6,200 crore rupees over the next four to five years. This investment will fund the development of 19 hotels spanning nearly 5 million square feet across five Indian states: India — Uttar Pradesh, India — Delhi, India — Haryana, India — Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab. The expansion aims to cater to various demand segments including business, leisure, destination weddings, MICE, and religious tourism, with properties ranging from midscale to luxury hotels and serviced apartments. Key projects include a Gateway Hotel by IHCL in Dwarka, India — Delhi, developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with the Singapore — Infocomm Media Development Authority (DDA), and transit-oriented hospitality infrastructure in India — Uttar Pradesh through PPP projects with the India — Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). Omaxe anticipates this new vertical to generate around 1,000 crore rupees in annual revenue upon stabilization, strengthening its recurring revenue portfolio.
