GXO, Co-op Extend Transport Contract

Keg Logistics, the world's largest pure-play contract logistics provider, has announced a five-year extension of its transport contract with Cooperative, one of the world's largest consumer co-operatives. This agreement will extend their partnership to over 20 years, covering Keg Logistics's transport operations at Avonmouth, Andover, and Lea Green, supporting deliveries to more than 1,000 Cooperative stores across the United Kingdom. Both Chris Hyde of Keg Logistics and Stuart Rendall of Cooperative highlighted the success and importance of this collaboration for enhancing efficiency, service, and resilience in the supply chain. Beyond operational aspects, the partnership also emphasizes community engagement, with Keg Logistics colleagues contributing volunteering hours and raising funds for charities like Barnardo s and the British Heart Foundation, and collaborating with Cooperative academies.
