The launch of RRiH Ascend positions Regnology to capture more market share in the regtech and risk management software space, potentially increasing its valuation and revenue. Financial institutions adopting the platform may improve risk management efficiency, reducing operational costs and regulatory penalties.
Regnology, a global provider of regulatory, risk, finance, and supervisory technology, has launched Regnology Risk Hub (RRiH) Ascend, an AI-powered platform integrated into its Ascend ecosystem. The platform combines risk analytics, data management, and AI capabilities to help financial institutions improve risk management, treasury operations, and balance sheet decision-making. It draws on technology from Regnology's acquisitions of Wolters Kluwer's OneSumX for Risk and Moody's regulatory reporting and ALM solutions. RRiH Ascend covers asset-liability management, liquidity management, market and credit risk, profitability, stress testing, and prudential risk. The platform features RGI, a governed intelligence layer with AI tools RGI Explain and RGI Assist, enabling natural language scenario modeling and stress testing with governance controls. Regnology CEO Rob Mackay, Chief Product Officer Linda Middleditch, and Product Director Shan Goyal commented on the launch.
