AdJane nOMV Vaccine Platform Validated

AdJane, a clinical-stage vaccine platform company, announced the publication of positive first-in-human Phase I clinical data for its proprietary native Outer Membrane Vesicle (nOMV) platform. The study, conducted in 40 healthy adults, demonstrated that the intranasally administered platform, combined with a SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein, was safe, well-tolerated, and induced both systemic and mucosal immune responses. This clinical validation supports AdJane's broader development programs in pandemic preparedness, respiratory infectious diseases, and antimicrobial resistance, including collaborations with Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations and CARB-X. The platform's ability to induce mucosal immunity addresses a significant gap in current injectable vaccines, which often provide limited protection at the primary entry site for many respiratory pathogens.
