Researchers at the World Congress of Cutaneous Lymphoma 2026 presented two indirect treatment comparison (ITC) analyses, funded by Kyowa Kirin, examining the impact of mogamulizumab on long-term outcomes, including overall survival, in patients with relapsed or refractory mycosis fungoides (MF) or Sézary syndrome (SS). These studies, which integrated clinical trial data from the MAVORIC trial and real-world data from Australia and Denmark, showed that mogamulizumab was associated with improved survival outcomes compared to standard of care or vorinostat. Professor H. Miles Prince and Dr. Angela Williams highlighted the importance of these findings in bridging evidence gaps for rare, difficult-to-treat blood cancers, supporting informed treatment decisions and potentially improving patient lives. The U.S. indication for POTELIGEO (mogamulizumab-kpkc) is for adult patients with relapsed or refractory MF or SS after at least one prior systemic therapy.
