Houlihan Lokey, a global investment bank, has agreed to acquire Tigress Financial Partners, an independent investment bank specializing in advisory services for the energy sector. The transaction, signed on June 27, 2026, is expected to close before September 30, 2026, pending regulatory approval. This acquisition will significantly expand Houlihan Lokey's coverage capabilities in the oil and gas industry, adding 34 financial professionals to its global Oil & Gas Group, bringing the total to over 70. Hugh E. McGee III, CEO of Tigress Financial Partners, will become Global Chairman of Oil & Gas at Houlihan Lokey, and Christopher F. Winchenbaugh, President of Tigress Financial Partners, will become Global Co-Head of Oil & Gas. Zacks Investment Management, Tigress Financial Partners' investment management business, is not part of the deal.
