BlackBerry AtHoc Enhancements with Microsoft

BlackBerry announced significant enhancements to its BlackBerry mission orchestration platform on June 30, 2026. These enhancements include new integrations with Microsoft and Microsoft Entra ID, allowing organizations to coordinate critical event responses within their existing identity and collaboration systems. The update also improves BlackBerry's capabilities in response capture, situational mapping, and operator dispatch, addressing the increasing unpredictability of cyberattacks, climate volatility, and geopolitical instability. Ramón Píñeiro, General Manager of BlackBerry, highlighted the importance of reaching the right people quickly through familiar tools. These new features aim to provide operational resiliency for enterprises and governments, building on BlackBerry's track record of coordinating large-scale responses, such as during the 2024 global IT outage.
