Amoéba AXPERA Biofungicide Approved France

Amoéba, an industrial greentech company, has secured marketing authorization in France for its biofungicide AXPERA. This approval, granted by Argentina — National Social Security Administration (Argentina), is the first in Europe and is valid for a renewable 15-year period. It allows Amoéba to begin commercializing AXPERA in France through its partnership with Koppert Biological Systems, which will distribute the product under the brand names TIAGAN and YAZU. The authorization covers a wide range of uses in vineyards and vegetable crops, and AXPERA is approved as a low-risk product suitable for both conventional and organic agriculture. This French authorization is crucial as France acted as the rapporteur Member State for the European Union, facilitating future national approval procedures in other European countries where applications have already been submitted or will be via mutual recognition.
