Hyderabad AI Traffic Management MoU

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of India — Telangana proposed integrating traffic signals in India — Hyderabad with advanced technology and Artificial Intelligence to improve traffic management, especially during rains. This proposal was discussed during a meeting with Analog Devices founder and CEO Alex Kipman and Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited managing director P. V. Krishna Reddy. During the meeting, Analog Devices and Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen technical cooperation and foster innovation-led infrastructure development. The companies presented their vision for 'Next Generation Intelligent Infrastructure' and 'Cognitive Cities', which would utilize physical intelligence (AI, sensors, and robotics) to manage traffic, detect water leaks, optimize power supply, and clear emergency routes. This initiative aims to enhance government operational efficiency, improve citizen services, and facilitate data-driven infrastructure planning for rapidly growing cities like India — Hyderabad.
