The significant increase in the Mineral Resource Estimate for the Heemskirk Tin Project by Stellar Resources is expected to positively impact Stellar Resources's stock price and investor confidence, given the project's status as Australia's highest-grade undeveloped tin project. This development, coupled with the strategic investment from Metals X, signals strong growth potential in the global Tin market, which is currently facing supply deficits.
Stellar Resources Limited announced a substantial update to the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its flagship Heemskirk Tin Project in Western Australia — Tasmania. The Severn deposit within the project saw a 64% increase in its Total Mineral Resource, now standing at 8.54Mt at 0.82% Sn for 70,002 tonnes of contained tin. This upgrade brings the total Heemskirk Tin Project Resource to 13.36Mt at 0.86% Sn, representing 115.3kt of contained tin, making it the highest-grade undeveloped tin project in Australia and third globally. The Indicated Resource category also saw a 125% increase. This milestone follows a $17 million cornerstone investment from Metals X Limited, which became a 16.4% strategic shareholder in Stellar Resources, further validating the project's potential. Stellar Resources is advancing its Prefeasibility Study, anticipated for completion in 2H 2026, and is well-positioned to capitalize on global tin supply deficits.
