The launch of Epson's new EcoTank printers is expected to positively impact the consumer electronics and office equipment markets by offering more efficient and cost-effective printing solutions. This could lead to increased sales and market share for Epson, while also potentially driving competition among printer manufacturers to innovate and improve their offerings.
Epson has expanded its EcoTank printer lineup with eight new models (L1310, L1350, L3310, L3316, L3350, L3356, and L5390) designed for home users and small businesses. These printers offer faster performance, lower operating costs, enhanced mobile workflows through the Epson Smart Panel app, Apple Inc., and Mopria support, and easier maintenance with color-coded refill systems and replaceable maintenance boxes. The new series features a more compact design, up to 20% smaller than previous generations, and utilizes Epson's Heat-Free Technology for reduced power consumption. The printers are capable of high-volume printing, with ink bottles yielding up to 4,700 black-and-white pages and 7,500 color pages, and are covered for up to 50,000 printed pages under warranty. Noelle Gonzalez of Seiko Epson — Epson Philippines highlighted the company's commitment to delivering efficient and sustainable printing solutions.
