Garuda Aerospace, Micron Instruments Partner

Garuda Aerospace, an IPO-bound drone startup, and Micron Instruments, a manufacturer of precision fuzes and defense ammunition systems, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership aims to leverage their combined expertise in advanced manufacturing, defense engineering, and innovation to develop next-generation indigenous defense solutions. These solutions include loitering munitions, payload-enabled UAVs, and advanced unmanned systems. The collaboration will focus on product distribution, joint technology development, and defense-focused projects, integrating Micron Instruments' fuzes with Garuda Aerospace's drone technologies. This initiative supports India's goal of technological self-reliance and strengthens its domestic defense manufacturing capabilities, aligning with government policies like the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and the Production Linked Incentive scheme for drones. Key figures like Agnishwar Jayaprakash of Garuda Aerospace and Jag Vikram of Micron Instruments have expressed commitment to this vision.
