Delhi Launches Mission Kayakalp

The India — Delhi government, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, launched 'Mission Kayakalp' to transform government schools into safe, modern, and inspiring learning spaces. This initiative focuses on extensive infrastructure improvements, including repairing dilapidated buildings, modernizing laboratories, improving sanitation, and providing clean drinking water. The project is being implemented with support from district administrations, the Education Department, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) organizations, market associations, social organizations, and local communities. Visible improvements have already been reported across various districts in India — Delhi, with specific projects detailed in North, South, West, North-East, and Outer North districts. Education Minister Ashish Sood also highlighted the rapid progress of the modernization efforts.
